A Plumbing Supply Business Is Born... Our story began in 1923, when Samuel White, our grandfather, decided to purchase a hardware store on Grand Avenue in New Haven. Sam became a well-known entrepreneur in that New Haven neighborhood, while growing his successful business. Samuel and his son, Paul, our dad, relocated the hardware business to Legion Avenue almost ten years later. Paul and his wife, Doris decided to convert the business from hardware to plumbing supplies and fixtures, soon thereafter. It was only a matter of time before Paul and Doris moved the business, in 1966, to its current location at 582 Boston Post Road in West Haven. The Tradition Continues... Three generation later, Steven White, his sister, Michelle (White) Eckhaus, and her husband, Effy, invite you to their West Haven showroom. The expanded showroom boasts a grand selection of faucets, sinks, vanities, medicine cabinets, bathtubs and showers. In addition, our custom kitchen cabinet experts can help you design the kitchen of your dreams. Close to nine decades of hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to our customers, has helped White’s Plumbing continue to thrive in the 21st century.
